What is included in your destination wedding packages?

We create tailor-made wedding packages according to our couple’s wishes. Basic packages are made for 3 days (or day of only) and usually include the following: welcome dinner, wedding ceremony, aperitifs, reception, cake, live music and/or DJ, event coordination, event styling, basic decoration, flower arrangements and bridal bouquet, bridal makeup and hair, wedding photography, documents translation, English interpreter at the ceremony,  wedding invitations, menus and place cards, wedding favours, various wellness services for bride and groom and/or golf lessons (optional) and farewell brunch. Services may vary among destinations depending on the capacities of the venue.  And if the couple has different wishes? No problem! All packages are always finalised according to the couple’s wishes and to the chosen wedding concept/theme with the help of our wedding planner. Almost anything is possible – we are here to make your dreams come true.

What is not included in the destination wedding packages?

Transport costs to arrive from your home-town to the desired destination (flight tickets, train tickets etc.), transfers from/to airport and accomodation costs for your wedding guests are not part of our wedding packages.

The bride and the groom will have to take care of their wedding dress and suit, shoes and wedding rings as well as register their forthcoming marriage with the Marriage Registry Office and provide legal documents to get married. Of course, we will assist you every step of the way.

What can I expect from my wedding planner?

Your wedding planner shall be available for you via skype, e-mail or phone from the moment you decide to hire us to plan your perfect wedding and every step of the way. Upon request, we can travel to your location to discuss your perfect wedding in person. In accordance with your vision and budget, we will advise on all the details, book the venue, make a timeline, help you with your documents, create your wedding design, take over all negotiations and arrangements with all suppliers, decorate the venue, and coordinate everyone and everything on your big day, so that all you will have to do is come to your chosen destination and say I do.

When do I have to decide on the date of my destination wedding?

For our popular destinations, it is best to decide at least 12 to 18 months in advance, however also 6-12 months may be enough if you want to get married during the off-season. What are the legal requirements to get married in Slovenia?

To get married (civil marriage) in Slovenia, you will need to provide the following documents:

  • a certified copy of birth certificates of both spouses
  • both spouses’ passports
  • A Free to Marry Certificate for both spouses (also called Certificate of No Impediment or Single Status Certificate)
  • **Certificate of dissolution or Divorce Decree or Death Certificate, if applicable
  • **Deed Poll in case of a name change

All documents must be translated into Slovenian language by a certified translator. We shall arrange a certified translation for you. Both spouses will have to appear in person at the Administrative Unit and submit these documents (6 months to 14 days before the wedding day).

Your witnesses will have to provide a copy of their passports on the wedding day.

What are the legal requirements to get married in Italy?

To get married in Italy, you will have to provide the following

  • valid passports of both spouses
  • Birth Certificate of both spouses
  • Certificate of No Impediment (Free to Marry Certificate) of both spouses or Atto Notorio.
  • **divorce papers or widow/widower papers (if applicable)
  • **Deed Poll in case of a name change
All documents will need to be legalised and translated into Italian by a certified translator. We will help you arrange this. After submitting these documents, you will have to obtain a Nulla Osta certificate (Italian version of No Impediment Certificate) and sign the Declaration of Intention to marry before the Civil Registrar.
